Job overview

Internationella Engelska Skolan is now recruiting the very best teachers to start in early August 2019.  We are seeking a qualified Science teacher to join our fantastic working environment.

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a highly successful school group in Sweden with students receiving high grades and a diverse and energetic staff. We have around 25,600 students enrolled in our 36 schools across the country with approximately 2,700 members of staff. IES is non-selective and students do not pay fees to attend school. Our schools follow the Swedish curriculum and are bilingual with 50% of teaching in Swedish and 50% in English, with Science taught in English.

IES provides an international and stimulating environment, where commitment, professionalism and the English language are common denominators. We work in an environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.

Application

Applicants will be interviewed for vacancies in Järfälla, Stockholm, as well as for our 35 other schools across Sweden. There may be a position in another school for teachers of different subjects, so if part of a teaching couple, please both submit an application.

To apply, email your C.V. and a cover letter, describing why you are interested in working in Sweden, to jeremy.elder.recruitment@engelska.se.

Closing Date: March 17th.

Suitable candidates will be contacted and invited to an interview in London on the weekend of March 30th/31st.

Over the last 25 years IES has supported teachers from across the world to obtain the right to live and work in Sweden. We will continue to do so, whatever the changing circumstances.
