We wish to appoint a dynamic and forward looking Science teacher to this successful Science department. We will consider applications from candidates across each of the science disciplines, however we are keen to secure an experienced Chemist to balance the knowledge base in the team. Candidates with salary expectations at the upper end of the range will need to evidence in their application and at interview how that might be merited. Applicants must meet the criteria outlined. 

For September 2019 we require:

• An excellent classroom practitioner

• Experience of teaching across the 11 – 16 range with evidence of the ability to teach A level

• Candidates who can demonstrate positive impact on learning and achievement in present post 

• Candidates who can evidence positive contribution to a team

• Evidence of securing positive outcomes for students

In addition to teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics to KS4, the successful candidate will ideally be able to teach their science specialism at KS5. There is an expectation that you may teach other subjects as directed in order to facilitate the delivery of the curriculum should this be required. Rellevant support will be offered.

Visits to the school are welcome and can be arranged via HR.

Welcome to the Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School. We are a Voluntary Aided Church school with a rich history and a reputation for excellence.  

The school was opened in 1969 by the Queen and is believed to be the first purpose built Church of England comprehensive school in the country. Today it is an over-subscribed and vibrant multi-faith, multi-cultural school serving three deaneries of Cuckfield, East Grinstead and Horsham, and the community of Crawley, providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. This is a happy school where faith is valued and which is underpinned by core Christian values of mutual respect and compassion based on the Gospel of Christ.
