St. Augustine’s C.E. High School is a medium sized mixed comprehensive school situated on the doorstep of central London, in Kilburn.The school is fully inclusive and promotes excellence in learning, seeking to ensure that all students are the best that they can be; our dedicated staff are focused on quality and achievement whilst ensuring the happiness and well-being of our community.
Our collective hard work and determination to succeed was recognised by Ofsted, who judged our school to be ‘Outstanding’ in September 2013. Following our 2016 results, St. Augustine’s was recognised by The Minister of State for Educationas being amongst the 100 top performing schools nationally in terms of the progress that our pupils on free school meals make between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 4 (including English and Maths). We were also recognised as being in the top 7% of schools nationally for the progress made by students.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and high calibre Science teacher. The successful applicant will play an important role in the continued development of teaching and learning across the whole ability range. St Augustine’s offers core, additional and triple Science at GCSE and Biology, Physics and Chemistry at AS/A2.
