£110 - £189 per day - Full Time

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience required for this position is recent teaching experience and you must hold Qualified Teacher Status.

Are you a highly motivated and inspirational Science Teacher that can deliver inspiring lessons?

We are currently seeking to recruit a qualified Science Teacher on behalf of a Secondary School based in West Sussex, based in Worthing. The Science Teacher position is due to start ASAP or January 2022, full time on a fixed term supply contract till Easter 2022. 

The role:

The desired Science Teacher will have passion and enthusiasm for the subject who will have the responsibility of delivering Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful Teacher will have high expectations of behaviour and attainment and will have the ability to build positive relationships with others.

You will be joining a department who aim to give every student the empowerment to move forward as a scientifically literate global citizen; who is able to decode, engage with, and influence, the rapidly evolving world around them.  They deliver the AQA Combined Science Trilogy across KS4, and a solid KS2 foundation introduction leading to KS3 curriculum. The academic day consists of 5 Periods - Tutor 8.40am -  EOD 3.10pm.

Requirements:

To be considered for the position of Science Teacher you must:   

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)   
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team   
  • Have the ability to deliver and plan where needed inspiring lessons
