An exciting opportunity has arisen at Barking Abbey School for a Science Technician.
We require an enthusiastic and experienced person to provide effective & efficient support to the Science Department at both Sandringham & Longbridge.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing mainly Physics Science practical's to facilitate the Science department. We are ideally looking for someone with good knowledge of physics & biology. An early morning start is essential for this post as school begins at 08.30.

- Blind shortlisting by a panel against the Job description. Potential applicants are scored. Shortlisting by at least 3 people including one SLT.
- Shortlist for interview based on scores from shortlisting.
- Interview process will depend on role and may include; lesson observations, data or admin tasks, panel interviews, student panels and a final interview
- All assessed tasks are scored according to set criteria and scores are moderated to ensure consistency.
- All panel interviews and final interviews are scored. Each interview has a moderation process to ensure consistency of scores where appropriate. Questions are common to all applicants.
- Feedback is provided by a member of the panel.
