Preston Manor is a successful, oversubscribed, all-through Co-operative School in the highly diverse London borough of Brent. We are a large learning community with students from ages 4-19 years old and our curriculum expands across six key stages. We achieve very strong academic results and are ready to move the whole school to outstanding.

The school is situated close to the exciting new London Designer Outlet and is a short 10 minute walk from Wembley Park and Preston Road Underground Stations and a 10 minute bus journey from North Wembley Station. It can be easily reached using the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines as well as the Bakerloo line and London Overground. Central London locations can be reached within 20 minutes from the School.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Science Technician, who is passionate about engaging young people in science. The role involves being responsible for the maintenance and provision of practical materials for science activities from KS3 to KS5.

Excellent organisational skills and a flexible working attitude are both essential.

Excellent communication, time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure are also essential for the role.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and energetic team who strive to ensure that all students enjoy learning and surpass expectations of achievement.

Preston Manor School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through state school with academy status, based in Wembley, north-west London, for children aged 4-18. It is a member of the family of Co-operative Trust Schools. It is a large school with approximately 1,900 pupils.
