North Bridge House Senior School is an independent, co-educational establishment.  There are currently approximately 350 Year 7-11 pupils on roll. We are looking to recruit an excellent Science Technician to support the outstanding and popular Science Department. 

The successful candidate will bring technical skill, meticulous standards of health and safety and a commitment to supporting staff and pupils to achieve the highest levels of academic success. They will maintain the high profile of Science at North Bridge by supporting the resourcing and delivery of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Responsibilities include facilitating the practical activities of pupils, maintaining a range of technical equipment, working collaboratively in a large Science team.

This role would be equally suitable for an experienced technician or for an aspiring teacher keen to gain valuable experience working within an excellent Science Department at a thriving secondary school.

North Bridge House is totally committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expects the same from its employees. All new staff will be subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance, identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks to include an exploration of any gaps within employment, two satisfactory references and registration with the ‘Disclosure and Barring Service.’ If the candidate has lived in the UK and/or Overseas Checks for all other countries in which the candidate has lived or worked (for 3 months or more in any one country since the age of 16 years) and their country of origin
