Salary: Scale 4 Pt 6-7 (£16,357 - £16,684) actual salary per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours: 36 hours per week term time only (39 weeks per year)

Start Date: Required as soon as possible

The postholder would be required to provide specific support to the Chemistry Department and within that area, to provide full technician support to teaching staff, particularly in the preparation and cleaning/clearing of lesson materials. The successful applicant will have good organisational, planning and time management skills.  The postholder would be required to provide support to other areas of the Science Department as appropriate. Previous experience is desirable although full specialist training will be provided.
