We are seeking to appoint a science technician with a chemistry specialism to support the Science and Technology Department with the preparation of equipment and practical experiments. You will be required to support staff and students with setting up practical lessons, delivery, checking equipment for classes and clearing away after use.

Shenfield High School is a co-educational, non-denominational 11-18 secondary school located in Brentwood, Essex. At its most recent inspection there were 1,145 students aged 11-18 on the school roll, 350 of whom studied in the sixth form. The area of Shenfield has a population of 5,500 and is serviced by a station on the Liverpool Street Line, which will be the final stop on the Crossrail Elizabeth Line. 

Shenfield High School was opened in 1962 and converted to academy status in 2012. 

The school is underpinned by its philosophy of "Learning for Life" and promotes Learning, Respoect, Responsibility, Security, community & Success as its key values.
