Job overview

As part of a job share, we require a highly skilled individual to organise the provision of practical support for staff and students at all key stages in the Academy. To assist the Head of Science in securing an environment in which pupils can safely pursue investigative practical work and effectively learn the more complex aspects of Science. You will be joining a lively and enthusiastic department. This key role requires a good understanding of basic science, the ability to work as part of a close team, work to demanding deadlines, advise on health and safety issues and monitor the care of laboratory animals.
