We are seeking to appoint a Science Technician to work as an additional member of our hard working team to provide a service with will ensure safe, effective and efficient use of resources to support the science curriculum and through the provision of this learning support service to promote equality of opportunity for staff and students. The post holder is required to assist in all subject areas as reasonably required. This position is available from April 2020, but the starting date is flexible depending on circumstances.
The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in Science, excellent technical skills and good working knowledge of current health and safety regulations. Experience need not be in a school environment but evidence of excellent organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and the ability to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues to meet deadlines is essential.
