John Ruskin College is a mixed, non-denominational sixth-form college located in South Croydon. The college, which was established as the John Ruskin Boys’ Central School in 1920, specialises in vocational education, A-levels, traineeships, apprenticeships and direct entry for students aged 14-16.
John Ruskin College offers diplomas in Sports and Science, Hair and Beauty and Spa Therapies, Heath Care and Early Years, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), Business and Law, Business and Finance as well as Creative Industries and Technology.

John Ruskin College has an ethos of enrichment and personal development. The college encourages students to pursue their passions through clubs and student societies. The college also offers a weekly tutorial programme, as well as an impartial College Careers and Employment Adviser, who works with students to hone their skills and ready them for the modern world of work.
