We are looking for a Science Technician to join our dynamic team of committed Science Teachers and Science Technicians who are dedicated to providing the best possible opportunities to our students. You will provide a wide range of skilled technical support and assistance to the Science faculty under the guidance of the Senior Laboratory Manager and Head of Faculty. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working as a Science Technician.
Our Science department is a very successful department with good GCSE outcomes and a huge take up at a KS5 offer of Biology, Chemistry and Physics ‘A’ Levels and BTEC Applied Science at L2 and L3. This leads to excellent progression into science related degrees and higher education. The department provides lots of practical’s at KS3 to generate a love of Science in the lower school.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience of working in the role of Science Technician
- Have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil
- Be able to relate to young people and adults within the learning environment
