Endeavour Learning Trust is looking to appoint a permanent Science Technician to contribute to the smooth running of the Science Department by organising the provision of practical support for staff and students.


Job Title: Science Technician

Grade: Grade 4 Scale Points 4-6

Salary: £18,933 to £19,698 per annum

Pro-Rata: £14,457 to £15,041 per annum

Location: Tarleton Academy (On occasion it may be necessary to temporarily assign you to another site within the Trust to meet operational needs)

32.5 hours per week. Term time plus two weeks 


This role of Science Technician is an interesting and motivating role for an applicant with a good standard of practical knowledge and experience of working within a technical support function.


You will be an enthusiastic, positive, flexible and motivated individual with personal drive.  You will have a calm, organised nature, with the ability to work professionally to strict deadlines, responding effectively and efficiently to challenges.  You will be able to communicate confidently and effectively, in varied situations.  You will have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently, maintaining a positive and successful working relationship with colleagues.
