Conisborough College is looking to recruit a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Science Technician for a September 2017 start. The Science Department requires a reliable, self-motivated, flexible individual who is able to use their own initiative and work within a team supporting the aims and ethos of the school, promoting science methodology and participating in the planning and policy making under the leadership of the Head of Science.   

You should demonstrate high levels of numeracy and literacy and be able to work collaboratively with staff across the school. You will need to provide evidence of a good standard of education or experience relevant to the duties of the post [i.e., technical support in an educational establishment]. Experience of working with teenagers in an educational setting is desirable.   

The successful candidate must have a flexible approach and be willing to actively seek to develop own learning to enhance the service delivered to our students and demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance and punctuality. You will also be expected to contribute to the whole school drive in promoting community cohesion.
