Bluecoat Meres Academy are seeking to appoint a Science Technician as soon as possible. The post holder will be required to work 22.5 hours per week 39 weeks per year.
The successful applicant should show enthusiasm and be willing to work as part of a team committed to providing quality care and education for our students.
Bluecoat Meres Academy encourage our students to develop and grow as people during their time with us. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• the preparation of scientific experiments
• maintenance of equipment and chemicals
• stock control.
• assisting teaching staff and students with practical activities will also form part of your day to day activities.

• Support from an enthusiastic leadership, teaching and support team, who are passionate about raising standards of achievement for all students.
The candidate should have knowledge of CLEAPPS, OSHH, Risk Assessment and Health and Safety as well as a relevant Science Technician qualification and previous experience of working within a Science department.
