Shiplake College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Technician to provide specialist assistance in the delivery of practical work within the science department. We have eight  teaching laboratories and two well-equipped prep rooms, supporting the teaching of biology, chemistry and physics.

Applicants must have a science background and an excellent working knowledge of health and safety within a laboratory environment. Applicants should also have good communications skills, an ability to build positive relationships with pupils and other colleagues and thrive in a busy school environment.

Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for boys aged 11 to 18 and girls aged 16 to 18, with girls joining Year 7 from September 2023. Situated in 45 acres of beautiful countryside near Henley-on-Thames, we offer an outstanding education based on small class sizes, excellent facilities and dedicated teaching staff.
