We are seeking a motivated individual to join our professional technician team to support and complement the teaching and learning of our pupils at the Stanground Academy.
Duties will include the preparation and maintenance of equipment and materials required for demonstrations and practical experiments. You will also be responsible for administering stock control, ordering procedures and assisting students and staff in the classroom, ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
With a background in science, you will have high professional standards and a methodical and organised approach. Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and the possession of related certificates/qualifications would be an advantage.
The Academy, which is part of the Greenwood Academies Trust, has made substantial improvements in achievement, teaching, behaviour and leadership. The Academy has a very supportive team, committed to promoting high achievement in education.

The new Stanground Academy opened on 1 April 2012 and is one of the Greenwood Academies Trust’s Group of Academies, replacing the predecessor Stanground College. The Academy has since undergone a £24M building project and now boasts state of the art” buildings providing academic, vocational and sports facilities for pupils and staff.
