Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch break
Term time only (39 weeks per annum)

The school was judged “good” by Ofsted in October 2022 and “outstanding” by the Archdiocese of Southwark in May 2019. Our Roman Catholic, Salesian school, in the heart of Battersea, strives to ensure that all its young people are given the opportunity and support they need to achieve their best, fulfil their true potential and go out into the world confident and ready to ‘earn their own bread.’
St John Bosco College are looking to appoint a Science Technician to join a supportive, passionate and dedicated team of professionals.
Support staff are an essential part of the school’s success. You will be expected to assist students’ learning by:
- Managing practical lessons, which enhance pupils experience of science
- Providing guidance to teaching colleagues
- Supporting the technician service
- Supporting the health and safety of the department.
You must have good literacy and numeracy skills. You must be committed and reliable with excellent communication skills. It is also an opportunity for career development as the school offers a regular training programme.
