St. Joseph’s Catholic High School prides itself on being a Catholic, listening and learning school. The students are at the heart of everything we do, and we challenge our staff to: Love the children and let them know that they are loved.

To support our staff in this mission we:

• We work hard for the children and we care for each other like a family.
• We have a behaviour system that lets teachers teach.
• We treat teachers like surgeons with weekly CPD and training.
• We have small class sizes and give teachers time to prepare.
• All teachers are included in our reading and electives programme.

We are inspired by St Joseph, patron Saint of workers and a member of the Holy Family. We aim to create a place where children aren’t just loved but that they know they are loved. It is this ethos that enables our children to become academically successful. Here, all children are developed according to their ability and we make every effort to ensure that we reach out to all regardless of background.
