Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Upper Batley High School, Healey Junior Infant and Nursery School and Field Lane Junior Infant and Nursery School. We provide high quality education for both boys and girls.  This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout all of our schools, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and highly capable Science Technician to join our dedicated and talented science departments at Batley Girls' High School and Upper Batley High School (working across both schools).  The post is temporary to cover maternity leave.  The successful applicant will have previous experience of laboratory work from either a commercial organisation or a secondary school/further/higher education provider.  They will have the ability to prepare materials and equipment for secondary school science and be familiar with CLEAPSS systems and COSHH regulations.  A HNC/HND or science degree would be a distinct advantage.
