We are seeking to appoint a Science technician to join the Science department from August 2019. This is a term-time position plus some additional days during the school holidays.

The Science department consists of 21 laboratories with a mixture of full-time and part-time teaching staff and a team of 6 full-time technicians. Knowledge and experience of physics experiments is essential in providing laboratory support for the teaching of IGCSE, International Baccalaureate (IB) and A Level science subjects. Team work and flexibility are an important part of the role and the ability to carry out electrical and mechanical repairs would be an advantage. Keeping the laboratories, workshop and storage areas clean, tidy and well organised is also a key element of the role.
