Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is QTS in Secondary Science, with experience of teaching the curriculum to at least GCSE level. This role would require a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching your subject, or willingness to complete a guided training programme to enhance curriculum knowledge.

The role

Vision for Education are seeking a Tutor to work 1:3 with students to support catch up interventions across Y7 – Y11 to aid students who have suffered and fallen behind due to the COVID-19 Pandemic through the government funded School led tuition programme. There will be a mixture of full time and part time roles available dependent on availability and timetable requirements.

The settings

Vision for Education are working with a number of schools across Rotherham supporting the provision for their students who have fallen slightly behind and would benefit from small group intervention within Science to bring them back up to speed. 

Requirements 

To be considered for the Tutor position, you will: 

• Hold QTS in Secondary Science to at least GCSE level, with 2 years experience teaching your subject.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists. 

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
