Barr Beacon SCITT is an Ofsted Outstanding, innovative and highly successful Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Programme. We aim to develop the very best classroom practitioners who will go on to inspire, influence and shape the lives of future generations for years to come. We are seeking to appoint a SCITT Manager who will be based and teach at Barr Beacon School. This is a rare and fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced and welcoming SCITT team and to really make your mark on our secondary ITT programme.
As an accomplished and ambitious teacher you will understand what makes great teaching and you will be unashamedly passionate about developing this in those new to the profession. In your role as SCITT Manager you will lead on the day-to-day operation of our programme and work with the SCITT Director across our successful partnership to support trainees, ensure the highest outcomes for all, maximise recruitment and enhance our programme. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, organised and collaborative colleague with excellent leadership and communication skills.
