Ashmole Academy Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance.  The trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school.

Ashmole Academy has a forward looking and innovative approach to all areas of school life and demand high standards of achievement. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from Governors and Parents and a dedicated and highly motivated team of staff. We currently have approximately 1600 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 330.  Our examination results are consistently outstanding and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year. 

Required for September 2019 an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to support the Head of Geography in the management and leadership of the geography department.   The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success with the ability to motivate, inspire and promote geography within the school.   

Geography is a very popular subject at both GCSE and A Level, and the department has a proven record of success. Results are outstanding with 87% of GCSE candidates achieving grades 9-4 and 71% achieving grades 9-5 in the summer examination series. At A Level, 87% of students achieved A*-C, 68% achieved A*-B and 29% achieved an A* or A in their 2018 Geography examination.
