Job overview
We are seeking to appoint talented, experienced and highly effective member of staff to the position of Second in Charge in English. We are looking for a talented educator with a big heart who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all our pupils.
The main aspects of the role will include the day-to-day leadership and management in the department, working closely with the other second in charge. The successfully appointed person will provide support to the Subject Leader and deputise in her absence as required.
The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher of English in a secondary school and will have a track record for securing strong outcomes for learners. The appointed person will be adept at translating their own high expectations and professional standards to others through their daily practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to become part of the Garth Hill team.
