We are looking for an ambitious and talented individual to help lead our team of dedicated Science specialists in our vibrant, multicultural, and diverse community.

You will join a well-qualified, dynamic and forward thinking Science team of specialist teachers and 2 technicians. Science GCSE results have risen steadily in recent years. Many students go on to gain places to study science subjects, including medicine, engineering and pharmacy at top universities.

Whitefield is a rapidly improving school, after receiving the DfE results for 2023/24 GCSE exams we are proud to announce that we have achieved our best ever results and we are in the top 9% of schools across the country for progress.

The successful candidate will benefit from a robust programme of professional development, with access to both internal and external CPD opportunities designed to help you excel in your role and advance your career. We are committed to the wellbeing of our staff, and as part of this commitment, we have adopted a reduced teaching load, in this role, you will teach 36/50 periods per fortnight, allowing you the time and flexibility to focus on delivering high-quality lessons and investing in your own professional and personal growth.
