We wish to appoint a highly organised and motivated Second in English and KS4 English Coordinator to join our vibrant and thriving team. In addition to being organised, reliable and responsible, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate leadership qualities and strategic planning skills. The postholder will be required to work closely with the Curriculum Leader in order to develop the KS4 curriculum provision, further enhance the quality of teaching and learning and show initiative and dedication to further raising the profile of English across the school. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing Key Stage 4 English.

Our aim is that each Hardenhuish pupil not only achieves academic excellence, and the qualifications to take them to further or higher education and adult working life, but also take advantage of a myriad of social, personal and recreational enrichment opportunities. Our specialisms in Mathematics and Computing (since 2003) and Science (since April 2009) are complemented by our status as the only Lead School for Gifted and Talented learners in North Wiltshire, a status which recognises our exemplary provision for the most able pupils and our outreach programme which benefits the wider community.
The learning environment at Hardenhuish now boasts a Technology Centre, Sports Hall with climbing wall, English and Performing Arts Centre and two-storey Sixth Form Centre, along with the extensively redeveloped Science and Maths Centres, which means that our campus has some of the most impressive educational facilities in the County.
