We are seeking a leader to join our thriving and successful Maths team.  Maths is strength of the school with students making excellent progress and achieving high outcomes at GCSE and Key Stage 5.  A Level and Further Maths options are popular in the sixth form.  The Maths team is a strong group of subject specialists who are committed to the highest standard of teaching and learning, to innovation and professional learning and are extremely supportive of one another.


This is an excellent opportunity to join this team and help shape the future of Maths in the school.  The team has been at the heart of much innovation including the use of technology to improve feedback, developing mathematical thinking and off site visits for Maths activities while the focus of the Maths team this year has been improving the quality of curriculum and assessment.  We will give you the opportunity to develop the quality of teaching and learning across the team, leading training and supporting others. We want you to be able to teach at all levels and to help create an outstanding environment for learning, and we will support you in developing your career as a leader in education; professional learning for all staff is a high priority. We have considerable involvement in training new recruits to the profession through Oxford University and OTSA/School Direct.
