In 2023, Hollingworth Academy was awarded the World Class Schools quality mark. The only school in Greater Manchester and Lancashire out of 463 to achieve this World Class status.

We are looking for someone with drive and ambition to join our mathematics team at Hollingworth Academy from September 2023 (or sooner if possible). We require an outstanding and inspirational practitioner who will challenge our Head of Mathematics and work together to ensure that our pupils make excellent progress in the subject. As a department, we strongly believe in high quality educational research to develop all of our practices and we are looking for someone who would make significant contributions to this.

For outstanding candidates, a recruitment and retention allowance for one year may be negotiated during the interview process, of up to £5,000.

Hollingworth Academy is now one of two schools in the recently formed Hollingworth Learning Trust along with Newhouse Academy. This role is excellent preparation for the post holder to secure promotion in the future.

Salary                   :              Main Pay Scale – Upper Pay Scale (Dependent on Experience)

                                               Plus TLR 2.3 - £7,368
