We are seeking an innovative Second in Science with responsibility for Chemistry to join our dynamic Science Department.  The successful candidate will work as part of the Science Leadership Team, consisting of the Head of Science (with responsibility for Biology), a Second in Science (with responsibility for Physics) and the Science KS3 coordinator. 

We need you to have strong leadership skills, a love of science, a willingness to trial new ideas and be a team player who can inspire students and staff. You should have a track record of success and be committed to providing the highest quality education for all students.

Chemistry is a highly popular subject at A Level.

The school offers excellent promotion prospects and a comprehensive induction programme and in-house CPD programme.  Priority admission of children of successful applicants applies for this subject.

Charters School is a very heavily over-subscribed 11-18 Comprehensive Academy School with 1700 students on roll (including 390 in the Sixth Form) located in Sunningdale, Ascot, Berkshire.  It is a dynamic, high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, motivated to succeed and enjoy their education.   The school provides a complete range of opportunities for students to achieve well academically and for successful personal development within a caring and supportive environment.
