British School Alzira/Xativa is now recruiting for a secondary and 6th form Art teacher to start in September 2019.
British School Alzira is an independent, co-educational school situated in a stunning mountain location 40km to the south of Valencia, Spain. With easy access to the Mediterranean coast and Valencia city we provide an educational environment second to none. The national press regularly list us as one of the 100 best schools in Spain. Our two form entry school teaches the British National Curriculum to children from the ages of 3 months to 18 years. Our pupils achieve excellent academic standards and our recent inspection recognised the high quality of our teaching.
Our sister school, British School Xativa, opened in September 2009 in response to demand from parents. Set in extensive grounds beneath the historic castle of Xativa it provides a modern and spacious learning environment. British School Xativa is now providing education from Pre-Nursery through to Year 13. Staff work together across the two schools to provide a consistent learning experience for our pupils.
On site facilities at both schools include a library, tennis courts, swimming pools, an ICT suite, ballet room, indoor PE area, shaded outdoor play areas, science laboratories, an art department and generously proportioned classrooms.
Free education is provided for teacher’s children. We also support teaching staff with all aspects of relocation.
