Secondary Design and Technology Teacher

The Royal Grammar School Guildford in Qatar (RGSGQ) opened in September 2016 with the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Based on the same principles as RGS Guildford, UK, RGSGQ has quickly gained a reputation for providing outstanding education and enrollment has increased across the school. RGSGQ currently educates girls and boys from Nursery to Year 9 on an attractive campus 10 minutes’ drive north of central Doha. Having established an excellent team of staff and outstanding facilities the Secondary school will open Year 12 in August 2022.

We are looking for a teacher of Design and Technology with experience of GCSE/IGCSE & A Level  who is comfortable teaching from Year 7 to Year 11. A level experience would be a bonus.

For the time-being this will be a one-person department, so the successful candidate will have the experience and confidence to be able to build and deliver the subject alone and to run a new DT curriculum in new state of the art facilities to be opened in 2022.
