École Jeannine Manuel, an established bilingual school in France, which opened in London in September 2015, is now recruiting a Secondary English Literature Teacher to start in September 2019.
Our English curriculum follows the British National Curriculum at KS3 and the Cambridge iGCSE Language and Literature syllabi at KS4. Please be advised that this is is not an EFL/TEFL post.
We are looking for teachers who consider teaching a serious business whilst maintaining an element of fun in all their classes; teachers who can transmit their own energy and love of learning to a class of children from many different backgrounds, all aspiring to be bilingual. Our aim is to find teachers from among the best practitioners of school teaching in the UK.
We welcome applications from NQTs and can offer induction if required.
Such a project is always ongoing and our teachers in Paris, and those in London, are part of a team researching and developing new ways of teaching, whether it is for first or second language, mathematics, science or history. Jeannine Manuel, who founded the Paris school, always put children at the centre of her project to develop international understanding, and her vision continues to inspire.
In addition to competitive salaries and pay progression, Ecole Jeannine Manuel UK offers a generous benefits package which includes:
- Access to extensive professional development opportunities
- Access to a Private Medical Insurance (80% cost cover by the School)
- Generous pension schemes
- Free Income Protection and Life Cover
