Panyathip International School, The British International School in Laos, has a vacancy for a suitably qualified Secondary French Teacher from January 2022. This position will be based on our Secondary Campus in Vientiane.

In Vientiane, the capital city, we have three separate age specific (Early Years, Primary and Secondary) purpose built campuses and  another,  but smaller all-through, campus in the Southern city of  Savannakhet.

Our students are well motivated, well behaved and eager to learn. We have a thriving Secondary Student Council whose voice is listened to and valued.

The ideal teacher will be someone who :  

  • will be able to teach French in KS3 and iGCSE
  • will be able to teach other subjects as/if required
  • will take the initiative and share ideas and recommend activities that will enhance our school's offer  
  • will show willingness to embrace and promote the  Lao culture and context through the subject  
  • has  experience of teaching children whose first language may not be English  
  • who is willing to contribute to the extra-curricular  life of the  school outside the classroom.

Founded in the academic year 2001 - 2002, Panyathip British International School comprises of three (3) schools i.e. Early Years School, Primary International School and Secondary International School, catering for students from 1 to 18 years old. Panyathip was the first International School in Laos to be accredited by the Cambridge Curriculum.
