Hillingdon Manor School caters for children aged 4 – 19 years with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Located over two sites, the school offers a unique mix of education and support to pupils within a wide spectrum of needs and abilities. 

We require a head teacher who will be a motivational leader with a proven track record of school development especially in the field of special educational needs and autism. The new head teacher of our Secondary School will need to create and maintain a Centre of Excellence in the Specialist Education of our students with Autism  

We are seeking to appoint a committed and experienced professional with a remit to further shape our improvement plan while continuing to raise standards and ensure the school’s ethos is maintained. As an effective leader, you will assume responsibility for all aspects of school life. 

You will be a dynamic senior leader, who is passionate about ensuring that each pupil fulfils their unique potential, and has a commitment to the whole school community. Working closely and collaboratively with the Senior Management Team to build a centre of excellence.  You will be absolutely vital in developing further the school ethos, excellent standards of teaching and learning, and a culture where everyone is highly valued and encouraged to achieve their potential.

You should have a clear educational vision development especially in the field of special educational needs and autism, staff, pupils and all our partners. You will recognise and building effective working with pupils, families, the wider community and partners. It is essential that you have proven leadership skills and be ready to lead a large and complex school.
