Mathematics is taught in differentiated groups across KS3 and KS4 with the majority of pupils taking IGCSE at the end of Year 11. There is an accelerated programme for high achievers who go on to take an additional IGCSE in further Mathematics. Mathematics is a core component in IB, where pupils can opt for a range of courses tailored to different ability levels. Familiarity with the British education system is therefore a prerequisite. Experience of IB teaching is preferred, but not required. A strong desire to contribute to the rich pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school will also be an advantage.
