St George’s School seeks a well-qualified professional to teach Physics in our flourishing secondary department, to start as soon as possible.

The National Curriculum is taught throughout the school, and we offer the IB Diploma in our Sixth form.

Located on a new, purpose built campus on the outskirts of Cologne, St George’s School enjoys direct transport links to the city centre, as well as to the greater area of Cologne-Bonn.

The Role
We are seeking to appoint a qualified Physics teacher to work in our well-established Science department.
The successful applicant will be a dynamic teacher with experience of enabling pupils to achieve their potential. We are looking for the right balance between experience, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching which will inspire our pupils.
Physics is taught in modules as part of the General Science course at Key Stage 3 and as a discrete subject at IGCSE and IB. Familiarity with the British education system is therefore a prerequisite. Experience of IB teaching is preferred, but not required. A strong desire to contribute to the rich pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school will also be an advantage.
