Do you want to work in a school that supports and challenge you to be the best teacher you can be?

Nexus is a privately owned international school in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The student body consists of expats from a large number of countries, members of government departments such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and private fee-paying Malaysians; the school roll is expected to grow to more than 800 over the next few years. NISP follows a British flavoured international curriculum, which includes IPC, IGCSE and IB Diploma.

The school is an inclusive environment and has a focus on personalisation of learning. ICT is fully integrated at all levels in the school; younger children are using iPads, the primary school has access to laptops in trolleys and learners from Year 5 – 13 have their own MacBook Pro laptops which are used across the curriculum.

We are seeking an innovative and experienced SEN / Learning Support teacher to join our Learning Resource Department. The department is committed to inclusive education and the teachers work to provide practical advice and support, creating a learning environment that promotes individualised learning and success.

Nexus is an inclusive school. We are also committed to developing personalised learning so that all learners, given their individual gifts and talents, are challenged and make progress and all teachers are expected to develop the skills to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners.  Use of Assessment for Learning strategies and technology is expected and knowledge of learners of languages other than English is desirable.  As an Apple Distinguished School we expect all teachers to use technology in a transformative way to enhance learning.

Nexus is located in Putrajaya, near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Established in 2008, we currently enrol 700+ students from Early Years to Year 13 who learn through the IPC, IGCSE and IBDP curricula. We have an inclusive admissions policy and you can expect to teach learners with learning and language needs as well as exceptionally academic and talented children.

We provide a professionally stimulating and collaborative, well-resourced working environment with extensive on-going professional development opportunities. Our competitive salary and benefits package is the same as our sister school Garden International School in Kuala Lumpur.
