Secondary Site -Assistant Subject Leader in Maths

Thank you for expressing an interest in the Assistant Subject Leader in Maths position at The Bay CE School Secondary Site.

From September 2018 Sandown and The Bay CE Primary will open as the Isle of Wight’s first and only all-through school. The all-through school will extend up to age 16 years and the quality and ethos of the Cornerstone Federation which already operates The Bay CE Primary School and Niton Primary School will be clear. 

Both schools have been rated as ‘good’ by OFSTED and most recently The Bay passed its SIAMS inspection with flying colours. From September 2018, the all-through school in Sandown will provide education for children aged four to 16 years at The Bay CE Primary School and the former AET Academy site at The Fairway, Sandown. 

We are looking for an Assistant Subject Leader for the secondary site that will have: 

• Consistently excellent classroom practice resulting in high levels of pupil enjoyment and progress.

 • Dedication to high quality teaching and learning.
