Are you an inspirational Economics and Business Studies teacher looking for a new challenge in a growing and vibrant international school? The British School Yangon is looking to appoint an outstanding classroom teacher to join our team in August 2021.

As a teacher of Economics and Business Studies, you will be a confident, compelling and innovative classroom practitioner, able to bring lessons to life through reference to real world case studies in addition to theoretical frameworks. Working across both IGCSE and A Level classes, your love of learning and enthusiasm for your subject will be inspirational to students in your classes, and your high expectations will help to set the foundations for their academic success. 

Working within the Humanities department, you will have a keen desire to collaborate and engage in the many professional development opportunities that arise, and will enjoy working with colleagues to build strong cross curricular elements. 

As part of a busy international school, you will be happy to contribute to the wider life of the school, offering After School clubs, plays and productions and organising enrichment activities to support curriculum delivery.

You will live and work in the beautiful city of Yangon in Myanmar, ideally situated for exploring the vibrant and diverse countries and cultures of South East Asia. Myanmar is a friendly and warm country where you will be made to feel at home from the moment you arrive.
