British Council School Madrid is seeking to appoint inspiring,caring and dedicated professionals to the position of Secondary Teacher of Science, to contribute to the continued success of an "Outstanding School" as assessed by the British Schools Overseas (BSO) Inspection in 2015. These positions would be full-time appointments on permanent local contracts, to start in September 2018.

Our Secondary Section has 900 pupils in Year 7 to Year 13. The children follow the English National Curriculum and Spanish National Curriculum. We provide children with a unique, bilingual and bicultural education. A holistic approach to teaching and learning is delivered through a broad and inspiring curriculum. Learning is rich, varied and highly valued. Our academic programme encourages passion and achievement in sciences and technology, languages, literature, the dramatic arts, sports and public speaking. - A minimum of 2 years teaching experience, in the last 5 years, in the Secondary phase of a UK, international or bilingual school
