Secondary Teacher – Subject Head (SH) of Physical Education (starting from August 2023)

Candidates preferably should:

• Possess an undergraduate degree and a recognized teacher certification, i.e. Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent within physical education
• Experience in coaching sports teams
• Experience in overseeing sport programs, other after-school co-curricular activities, or other school wide programs so they can manage ISSFHK and/or HKSSF sport leagues effectively for the SISHK community (staff, students, parents)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other academic heads and senior leadership members of the school to implement and carry out school wide decisions and programs for the entire SISHK community (staff, students, parents)
• Have effective interpersonal skills
• Have a strong commitment and passion for physical education in addition to seeking to always encourage the holistic development of the child
• IB experience teaching DP Sports, exercise, and health science (SEHS) would be highly valued, but not required.
