Who are we:

St Teresa's College, Abergowrie is a secondary boarding school for boys and part of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Townsville. The school is located in the Herbert Valley 35 km north-west of Ingham, 2 hours north of Townsville, North QLD. The student population, currently 230, comes from the Torres Strait Islands, Gulf Communities, the Northern Territory, urbanised centres such as Townsville, Cairns and Brisbane, and Papua New Guinea.

St Teresa's is not just a school; it is an environment that through numerous opportunities in a diverse range of areas, enables each student to reach their full potential not only as individuals but as valued members of society and their communities.

What we are looking for:

Qualified teachers who have a flexible and accommodating workstyle. Teachers with a passion for professionalism and a genuine commitment to their vocation as teachers.The position is open to both experienced and graduate teachers. 

What we offer:

Great remuneration and an additional relocation and settlement package for the successful applicant.

Salary range is $70,080 and $100,936 - depending on your experience.

About You:

  • Hold QCT Registration or be eligibility to obtain full registration
  • Relevant teaching experience in any of the following subjects: Earth and Environmental Science, Biology, or Agriculture
