The role of Secretary - Finance is critical in support of our efforts to quality inclusive Catholic schooling within the context of the gospel vision. The role is one of partnership among and between, teachers, administrative staff and parents. It involves working with both children and adults across a range of key result areas. It requires a multi-skilled person with: * well-developed interpersonal skills, * an ability to organise time and prioritise tasks, * an initiative mind, * enthusiasm and a good sense of humour, * a genuine interest in, and sound knowledge of, business organisation, and * an ability to work well with both children and adults. Immaculate Heart Catholic Primary School would welcome applications from people who have some or all of the requires skills for the position.

Position Tenure:   Continuing

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks - plus additional hours/weeks as negotiated

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):  

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   Term time (Monday - Friday) - 38 hrs per week plus 4 additional weeks as required.

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer, Level 5

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
