Salary in the range of £38,426 - £41,813 per annum including London Weighting

Uxbridge College is one of the leading providers of Further Education in West London and we were graded as ‘Outstanding’ at our last Ofsted inspection (2008). 

Our Business School offers a wide range of finance, vocational, professional and management courses to a diverse student community and is actively developing our Work Based Learning provision.

As Section Manager, you would manage, develop and promote the commercial activities of the Business School and co-ordinate the finance, professional and management courses to agreed targets.  Course provision includes Work Based Learning, Access, HND and AAT and Commercial courses such as the ILM and CIPD.  You would teach across a range of subjects and also manage one Course Team Leader and a team of Lecturers. 

You should possess a relevant degree and possess the business skills to develop the commercial and Work Based Learning programmes with local employers. You should have 3 years’ teaching experience in the subject area, including delivery of finance programmes, preferably in Further Education, recent experience of working in Business/Finance, and some team leadership/management experience.  A professional qualification such as AAT, CIMA, CIPD or ILM would be an advantage. Training and support will be given to achieve the necessary assessor/verifier qualifications.
