An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and develop the Access & A Level sector at Highbury College. At Highbury College, you will work alongside students from all over the world aiming to go to both local UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh and Durham, as well as leading US and European universities. 

A Level and Access classes have a high staff to student ratio, with small classes and a friendly and supportive academic atmosphere delivered from the Sixth Form Academy. Further information on our A Level courses can be found on our website at https://www.highbury.ac.uk/a-levels/ 

Access classes are specifically designed for students aged 19+ who are preparing for higher education. Access students have 3 routes to follow – Access Business Studies, Access Health and Human Sciences or Access Pharmacy and Biomedical Science. The successful candidate will have:

· A degree in a relevant subject

· A recognised teaching qualification

· Recent experience of teaching a relevant subject

· Experience of effective leadership of learning and teams

· A track record of growing student numbers and improving student retention, success and progression
