Job overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and reliable security/caretakers to the current team as part of the Facilities Department.    

The successful applicant will be experienced and vocationally competent in a security or similar role with a front line SIA qualification, able to work on their own or as part of a team in dealing with a wide and varied range of security issues and reporting them in line with procedure. Having the ability to manually handle large and/or heavy items and also to respond to as well as assisting with urgent and emergency security and caretaking matters is essential.  

The successful applicant will be required to meet safeguarding targets and contribute positively to the continuous improvement in quality and the standard of service the team provides to support the curriculum, students and staff across the College. A flexible approach to work is required as additional hours may need to be worked to cover annual leave etc.
