We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated professional to join our highly committed Learning Support Team in our popular over-subscribed, mixed school of around 1300 students. We are a centre of academic excellence, at the heart of our community, and with the highest aspiration for all of our students.
This new role involves coordinating support for students with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health). It is important to be knowledgeable as well as have skills and experience with a range of interventions to support students with SEMH such as one to one support and small group work (social skills and anger management). Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to work with a students, parents, staff and external agencies as well as lead and participate in professionals' meetings.
