The Peak Academy is an SEMH Secondary School, which aims to prepare its students for the future following our curriculum, which offers a balance of vocational and academic learning, tailored towards our students' needs. We believe that teachers should have really high expectations and we support our staff practically to do this with strong behaviour structures and clear lines of support to a leadership team that is fully involved in the quality of teaching across the Academy.
As our Sports/PE Teacher, you will be joining an experienced and supportive department that has a real drive to see SEMH students thrive and feel prepared for adult life. You will have small classes which will enable you to personalise the learning for the students you teach.
This vacancy includes an SEN annual allowance of £2,270 per annum in addition to your salary.

About You
• QTS is essential
• Assessed as a Good or Outstanding Sports / PE Teacher
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the curriculum requirements and developments within your specialist subject
• Secure knowledge and understanding of how to make effective personalised provision for all pupils, including those for whom English is an additional language and pupils who have special educational needs
